Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering offers students theory and practical hands-on skills in the various fields of civil engineering such as structural engineering, highway and transportation engineering, water and environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering and construction and management.
A graduate of Civil Engineering has unlimited job opportunities in the mines, government departments, road agencies, utility companies, consulting firms, construction firms, research and training institutions and regulatory bodies. The graduates will also have opportunities to work in the sub region as well as anywhere in the world.
Aims of the Programme
The aim of the Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering programme is to produce graduates who have sufficient theoretical background to not only design, construct and maintain civil infrastructure but also able to conduct research and development activities.
