 Specialization: social science research on informality and the everyday; urban citizenship and slum developments; young people and housing; the land question; gender, forest livelihood and sustainable management; education, and small scale agricultural productive systems; programme/project evaluation; monitoring and evaluation;  

 

Teaching: Research Methods in Development; Quantitative Social Research; Qualitative Social Research; Globalization and Development; Science, Technology and Development; Poverty and Inequality; and, Introduction to Development Studies.
