About the Department
The department of Computer Science and Information Technology is one of the most exciting and interesting at Mulungushi University. The department offers programmes that are aimed at producing high quality graduates who are relevant to the Local and International market. Our graduates are equipped with both theoretical and practical knowledge in Computer Science and Information Technology. The students will have the option to specialize in areas not limited to Networks, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Enterprise and Information Systems, etc. The department also offers various postgraduate studies in both Full time and Open Distance Learning (ODL) modes. The Department is also supporting two undergraduate programmes through the School of Education namely; Bachelor of Information Communication Technology with Education; and Bachelor of Mathematics and Information Communication Technology with Education.
